What comes to mind when you think of the differences between and Oak tree and a Willow tree? Flexibility? You got it. My mentor, Baeth Davis, describes the flexibility of a person’s thumb, which includes both joints, as a Willow or Oak.
Let’s do a little experiment. Right now take a look at your thumb (either one). Arrange the thumb and index finger on the other hand to be able to gently press the lower joint back. Is this joint flexible? Or stiff? Write it down.
Next, do the same thing with the upper joint of the thumb. Is this joint flexible or stiff? Write it down.
Take a look at your answers. I will start with the Oak tree. The Oak tree is strong, resilient, and solid. Relating this to us, as humans, the characteristics can be stubborn, calm, good in crisis, and controlling.
The willow tree, on the other hand, is very flexible, goes with the flow, and bends with the wind. Relating this to us, we can have poor boundaries, get walked on and pretty much just go with the flow of life.
If you found your lower joint to be stiff, you like to control people (which may not always be a bad thing). For instance, if you are a teacher, you may expect and demand control over your students so the environment is conducive to learning. In the extreme, you may constantly believe that people need to behave and act in a certain way~ remember, in most situations you are not in control of how people behave, therefore you may find that you need chill out and be a little more flexible.
On the other hand, if you found your lower joint to be flexible, you may like a classroom setting where everyone is fluttering around without structure. You may find yourself unable to set boundaries and notice people walking all over you. Find the balance between flexibility and control.
Now look at your answers for the upper joint of the thumb. Was it flexible or stiff? A stiff upper joint means the tendency to control events or schedules. This person may research their vacation and plan every step of the way, and I mean every step, from the minute they get off the plane to the minute they get back on the plane. Every second is accounted for. If you are one of these people, try to be spontaneous, even 20% will make a difference. Maybe that means being open to recommendations on restaurants when you get there without planning before you go.
If you have a flexible upper joint, you may be someone who never plans a vacation. You hop on the plane with no agenda. But when you get to your destination you find that all the hotels are booked due to a convention and now you have no where to sleep. What to do?
The key to success, and by the way, that’s the message of the thumb, “Success”, is to find the balance. Exert your control when absolutely necessary but also include being flexible in the mix, it will make life much more fun but still structured.

“The Greatest Tragedy in life is not death, but a life lived without purpose”
I read this quote the other day and thought to myself how anyone could allow themselves to live their life with no meaning or purpose. I tried to imagine living a life just going through the motions everyday and doing what others people wanted me to do, or being what others thought I should be. So often our parents, other family members, and friends, always meaning well, of course, tell you what you should be doing with your life and justify it by either the financial security involved or how good they think you would be at a particular career. This unfortunately happens time after time resulting in you being totally frustrated and extremely unhappy in your job, which ultimately carries over to your personal life and family relationships.
How about you? Does your life have purpose?
Does your life have ENERGY– PASSION – and a CLEAR DIRECTION?
Do you want to know your life purpose and identify challenging beliefs that are holding you back from living the life of your dreams?
Are you ready to discover the depths of who you really are and what makes you tick?
Do you want to live your life with greater meaning and authenticity?
Do you want to gain understanding and insight of your deep personal issues?
Are you ready to cultivate balance and peace in your personal life and family relationships?
Does your job feel like a grind?
If you have asked yourself these questions and are frustrated and confused on not knowing the answer, then you owe it to yourself to discover Hand Analysis. You will clearly gain insight into the powerful and remarkable information that is literally in your hands.
Your fingerprints hold the answer to one of the greatest mysteries of life –the reason you are here. They reveal more than who you are physically, they also tell you about who you are at the deepest level of your Being, the unique core state of consciousness you long to live in that makes your life feel meaningful – YOUR LIFE PURPOSE.
You are unique, you are special, and you were born with your own natural brilliance. It’s all in your hands. Each one of us is so very blessed with special strengths, skills, talents and abilities that we received at birth or developed over our life time. You have distinctive, unchanging fingerprints that were formed five months before your birth. The lines in your palms reveal your unique style of feeling, thinking, behaving and communicating, as well as your special gifts. What if your unique patterns could reveal what you are meant to do here? Do you feel you were put here for something much more? Are you feeling stuck and frustrated on the current path you’re on? If you want to change your life forever and clearly gain insight into the powerful and remarkable person you are, make an appointment to have a HAND ANALYSIS SESSION. You will be amazed at the accuracy of this remarkable scientific system based upon thousands of hands studied. Hand Analysis is NOT predictive, (I can’t tell you how many children you’re going to have or when you’re going to meet that special someone.) I’m so grateful that I’m able to share this life changing information with so many and enable them to live their life purpose and the life of their dreams.

A positive attitude gives you that special edge of confidence and happiness within to know that you will always have the right mindset and enthusiasm to accomplish what needs to be done.
Everyone thinks about being “thankful” when Thanksgiving is upon us. But imagine practicing gratitude and thankfulness on a daily basis. An attitude of gratitude can make a huge difference in your daily life and overall emotional well-being. In a report done by the Research Project on Gratitude and Thanksgiving, it was found that grateful people reported greater life satisfaction, optimism and positive emotions and lower levels of stress and depression. GRATITUDE IS A PRAYER. It is a joyful and selfless expression of thankfulness from your heart.
Through gratitude and appreciation, you focus your thoughts and energy on the beauty and abundance that is already present in your life. There is no greater prayer than one of sincere heartfelt love, appreciation and gratitude. Always try to make a conscious decision to have an attitude of gratitude. Choose to live in a state of constant joy, gratitude and appreciation and acknowledge how fortunate you are. Don’t take even the simplest things for granted – appreciate them and give thanks. This feeling and expression of gratitude is simply good for you. These pure emotions are of the highest vibrational frequency and through the Law of Attraction, they will automatically attract even more to be thankful for. They will create a vibrational match for all the beauty and abundance that the universe has to offer. This feeling and expression of gratitude increases your sense of well-being, awareness, enthusiasm, happiness, determination and optimism. It raises your vibrational frequency and creates an upward-spiraling process of ever increasing joy, gratitude and abundance that just keeps getting better and better.
Begin to keep a Gratitude Journal. Everyday we have so many things to be grateful for. Your journal is a place to honor and acknowledge the good in your life, a special place to appreciate all that you are already blessed with.
Your Gratitude Journal will inspire you and serve as a daily reminder to focus on the positive, and on the many areas of abundance in your life. By doing this, you will attract more of those things to you. It is a simple concept and a powerful tool in the creation of the life you desire.
Make a promise to yourself to use your Gratitude Journal daily. Take some quiet time each evening before you go to bed to review your day and think about the events that have transpired. Think about how many good things actually happened and remember to appreciate even the challenges that you encountered. Choose five things, people or events that you are most grateful for and write them down. Write down whatever or whoever you are sincerely grateful for that particular day. Continue to write down anything you are grateful for and really feel the appreciation and give sincere thanks. This time spent in gratitude will become a sacred part of your daily routine.
You can also begin your day in a place of gratitude too. Take a few moments each morning to really be thankful and simply appreciate how fortunate you are. By doing this, you will begin each day in a state of powerful positive attraction that will set the tone for the rest of your day. Begin and end each day with gratitude.

Miracles do occur on a daily basis. Notice them, honor them and write them down. Through your expressions of acknowledgment and gratitude, you will become increasing aware of these miracles and the amazing coincidence that is already present in your life. Whatever you focus on expands – so the more you notice it working, the more it will work. Always be sure to devote time daily to be with God and with yourself.
Each day you will become more aware of the positive things that happen all around you. Your heart will shift, your energy will shift, and you will begin to appreciate how blessed you already are.
